Spending money I don't have on Shit I don't need

I've said it: I should not be allowed into Ikea unsupervised. I can see it now: "I'm sorry sir, you must have this much self control (holds hands about knee high) to shop here without a 'buddy' or responsible shopper."

I bought some stuff yesterday... it was all good stuff and I was frugal with my purchases. If you really get down to it though - I didn't NEED any of the stuff I bought. I just wanted it. I'm always brought back to the scene in fight club. Then again, I get a sense of peace when things are in their place. Maybe that's something to just deal with... as much as smoking or drinking provides a sense of relief at times - it doesn't mean it's good for you.

So I finally hung up smoke detectors that my mom wanted hung up for her and the little fuckers are beeping every minute - with new batteries! what pieces of shit. I'm just going to go buy new ones later at home depot.

I have to really get on with the garage reorganization/cleaning. I've been slacking. I finally have my bug drivable again so that I can pull it out and spread across the ENTIRE garage. After that I don't think it will take that long... I just have to throw away crap, box up stuff to sell at shows, and pack away all my spare parts. I'm excited to get rid of all the crap. eventually, I'll just have the car and that spotless workshop I'm dreaming of... haha.. Eventually.

alright, back to the cleaning.
