This t-shirt is awesome... Behold the power of CafePress.com.

Today sucked. I fucking hate customer service. Can I stress that enough? At the same time, I like to help people and fix cars. That part is fun... that and getting a paycheck in the process.

I toured the new West Chester University Music Building today... very nice... Almost makes me wish I was a music major. They have so many neat things there to play with... 2.1 miiiillllion dollars in Steinway Pianos, all brand-new macs everywhere, recording studios, full classrooms of brand new keyboards hooked to macs... holy shit. I miss all of the fringe benefits of attending a large university.

I purchased an uber-cheap computer barebones kit for my Mamma @ tigerdirect.com. $200 for a case, motherboard, processor, and dvd-r drive!!! I can use her old hard drive and the new memory I just bought for it... I did have to buy a new fan for it... Computers are getting so cheap... I wonder what people are going to do with all the old ones/parts? They say that 3rd world countries have huge junkyards full of toxic electronic waste. I guess the components break open and toxic chemicals leach into the soil/groundwater/rivers. That sucks. At the same time, I like to build new computers and they're getting cheaper all the time.
I tried to recycle the old computer stuff I had as well as 3-4 old tvs/monitors... The line to get to the collection for the stuff was at least a mile long! That's a mile of cars, people! A fucking MILE! Needless to say, I wasn't having that on my day off to throw away some junk. I think that if there is that much of a demand, the county/state/government needs to organize for the disposal of said toxic waste. Best Buy has a drop for old cell phones/batteries/ink cartridges in the lobby of some (all?) stores... I plan on dumping about 25lbs of old batteries that I have sitting in my mom's garage. That, I'm sure, will be exciting.

well, that's it. time to get stuff done tonight... building computer, bills, cleaning, food shopping!
